The Engineer also has access to an array of Elixirs. Elixirs are abilities which when consumed create an impact on you, often having a predetermined or random outcome. For instance, utilizing Elixir S will shrink you to the size of a mouse for a number of seconds permitting you to evade all incoming attacks.
Elixir C will eliminate all your circumstances and turn them into boons or Elixir U will grant you haste, allowing you to attack at fast speed for several seconds. In total you will find 6 Elixirs with one of these becoming an Elite skill in guild wars 2 ranger spvp build.
Engineers are limited to 3 types of weapon: pistols (each primary and offhand), rifle and shield and cannot have a second weapon set equipped like other professions. They can however make up for this by getting access to numerous weapon kits that they equip on their skill bar: Flamethrower, Elixir Gun, Grenade Kit, Bomb Kit, Tool Kit and Med Kit.
